Coors Tek - Golden, CO

Completed in multiple phases, the renovation of CoorsTek’s Lobby and executive corporate offices was a thorough remodeling of the dated finishes originally installed in 1992. Acting as the designer as well as the construction / project manager, Impresa began the project in the summer of 2007 with the first phase, a facelift of the main reception area and lobby. New carpet, ceiling, floor tile, paint and furniture – stylish Reception Station and comfortable seating areas are complimented by a 20 foot high wall entirely covered in natural slate tile. Phase 2 began in the fall of 2008 and completed with phase 4 in January 2009. This phase concentrated on the old support / administrative area. It was cleared of the antiquated panel furniture and replaced with custom wood workstations, collaborative work conferencing areas and a custom coffee bar. A refreshing palette was created through the selection of paint, carpet, natural stacked limestone for existing columns and native slate flooring. The majority of existing grid ceiling was kept in tact, while the energy consuming parabolic fixtures were replaced with energy efficient, ergonomic RT-5 retro-kits. Phase 3 focused on the two main conference rooms with new ceilings, lighting, wallcovering, paint, quartzite countertop with vessel sink, and furniture. In phase 4, Impresa retrofitted the existing restrooms and an employee kitchen showcasing new stainless fixtures nestled in custom cabinetry. Located at 16000 Table Mountain Parkway in Golden, Colorado.
